YK Tutors is an online GCSE Maths tutoring business run and taught by Yusra Khandakar, trading from yktutors.co.uk and contacting students at yusrakhandakar@yktutors.com. Throughout these terms, "we", "us" and "I" all mean YK Tutors.

One-to-one online Maths lessons for GCSE students, taught over Google Meet and matched to the student's exam board (AQA or Edexcel) and tier (Foundation or Higher). Each lesson is one hour. A calendar invitation with the Google Meet link is emailed when a booking is confirmed.

The times shown on the booking page are the times genuinely open:

• Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5pm to 11pm
• Saturday and Sunday from 6am to 11pm
• Tuesday and Friday are not offered
• at least 12 hours' notice before the lesson starts
• up to 28 days ahead

A time can disappear between the moment you see it and the moment a booking is confirmed, because someone else may have taken it first. If that happens we will offer you other available times.

The first two sessions for a new student are free. No card details are needed for them. The free sessions are a genuine trial: at the end you decide whether to continue, and there is no automatic renewal, standing order or direct debit of any kind.

The offer is one per student, tracked by the email address used to book, and is intended for a student who is genuinely starting with us.

Tuition is £20 per hour after the two free sessions. Each paid lesson is booked individually and must be paid for by card before the lesson is confirmed. Payment is processed securely by Stripe and a receipt is issued to you. Prices are in pounds sterling and may change with notice; a lesson you have already paid for is never re-priced.

• a device with a camera, a working microphone and a reliable internet connection
• a quiet, private space to work in during the lesson
• joining a few minutes early so the full hour is not lost to setup
• letting us know in advance about anything that affects learning, so lessons can be planned properly

Where a student is under 18, a parent or guardian agrees to these terms on their behalf and should remain contactable during lessons. We ask for the parent's or guardian's name at booking so that confirmations and lesson links can reach a responsible adult.

Lessons should be respectful and safe for everyone. That includes no abusive language, no recording of lessons without permission, and no inappropriate content or behaviour. If conduct makes teaching unworkable we will raise it with you first, and where necessary we may end the arrangement — with a refund of any lesson already paid for and not yet taken.

Lessons can be cancelled or moved free of charge with at least 12 hours notice. Later than that the lesson is charged. The full rules, including what happens if we cancel, are in the Cancellation & Refunds policy.

Worksheets, explanations and recordings we share are for the student's own study. They may not be resold, published or redistributed.

We commit to preparing properly, teaching honestly and explaining things as many times as needed. We cannot guarantee a particular grade or outcome, because results depend on the student's own work between lessons as well as the teaching. Any statement about what the tutor has achieved personally is exactly that — a personal qualification, not a promise about your child's results.

Tell us first. Email yusrakhandakar@yktutors.com and we will look into it and come back to you, usually within a working day. Most problems are fixed with a reschedule, a correction or a refund.

We take reasonable care in providing lessons and running this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Beyond that, we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, including the outcome of an exam.

These terms may be updated; the version published at the time you book is the one that applies to that booking. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
